When it comes to making cocktails, vodka is a damp squib. Gin is much cooler, insists Jamie Walker, global ambassador for Bombay Sapphire. Vodka is like alcoholic tofu, he continues. It doesnt have any character of its own it just takes on the flavour of the mixers.
