Our Client, is a substantial UK subsidiary of a leading European international freight forwarding and transportation Group. Customer focussed and operating to the highest standards on behalf of a prestigious customer base, the company now seeks to recruit a Business Development Manager to maximise the considerable scope for growth in its niche wines and spirits business. This is an exciting opportunity with personal development potential for the candidate who delivers results.
The Role:
Maximise the growth opportunities for existing wines
and spirits business and develop new revenue streams
Develop strong and effective working relationships including customers and corporate overseas agency network
Deliver high service levels commensurate with niche market
Overseas and domestic travel as required
The Candidate:
Proven track record of sales success gained within the
wines and spirits trade
Appreciation and knowledge of wines from grower,
retail and wholesale perspective, new world and
traditional markets
Exceptional negotiation, presentation and communication
strengths
Self- motivated and enthusiastic with mature and thorough approach to all tasks
Knowledge of French language an advantage
