Davy & Company, an independent family owned wine merchants trading successfully since 1870, is looking for a General manager to run the day to day operations of their wine cellars based in Greenwich SE10.

Applicants must have a minimum of three years management experience covering a wide range of responsibilities within the wine trade.

The key area of day to day responsibility will be the Management of a team of up to 15 people involved in shipping, stock control, distribution and administration.

Candidates must display an understanding of business and systems, excellent communication & personnel skills, the ability to train, have a positive can-do attitude, be committed to maintaining and implementing where required the highest standards, and be totally professional in their conduct.

The role will be reporting directly into the Sales and Operations Director, and must be able to produce fast and accurate reports on a timely basis.
