Job Description
The Wine Adventure specialises in wine tastings for corporate entertainment. Our award-winning business is located in Tooting Broadway, London.
A new role has opened up at our small, rapidly growing company after 3 great years in the corporate events market.
We are looking for a diamond in the rough to take on the following roles:
Sales of our various corporate events to organisations (including blue chip companies) and corporate event suppliers, both on the telephone and in the field.
Client liaison and account management.
Management of function staff and 3rd party suppliers at our events, and event logistics and stock management.
Liaison and negotiation with venues (including a number of UKs top locations).
Administration, management and primary responsibility for our customer database and content management systems.
Co-development and launch of new event formats and services.
You will need to:
Have at least 2 years experience in the wine trade.
Be proficient in MS office applications (word, excel and PowerPoint), and be IT literate.
Work well under pressure, and be driven by results.
Have confidence, and first-rate communication and literacy skills.
Be flexible, resourceful and have excellent attention to detail.
Have the capacity to work well both by yourself, and as part of a small, nimble team.
Have a real desire to excel.
