WINE manger - The 2007 Decanter World Wine Awards

Duration of contract: Mid-February-End June 2007

The job:

The Decanter World Wine Awards is the world's most highly respected and authoritative wine competition. Decanter is looking for a hands-on individual with an in-depth wine knowledge to manage all wine entered into the awards.

Responsibilities will include:

Categorising all wines entered.

Managing the team in the warehouse to categorise and check all bottles.

Managing the wine during judging week.

Collating the results.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Expert wine knowledge - minimum qualification WSET diploma

A great team player

Extremely organised

Absolute attention to detail

Always remains calm and focussed under pressure

Logical

Computer literate - especially Excel
